TPU Hot Melt Film

TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) hot melt adhesive film is an eco-friendly thermoplastic bonding material with high strength, excellent abrasion resistance, low-temperature flexibility, and superior elasticity.
When heated to its activation temperature, the film melts to produce exceptional adhesion, and once cooled, it forms a tough yet flexible adhesive layer.

TPU hot melt film bonds well with a wide range of materials, including textiles, leather, metal, and plastics, while offering waterproof performance, wash resistance, and crease resistance. It is widely used in the textile, footwear, automotive, and electronics industries for lamination and bonding processes.

This product contains no solvents, emits no hazardous odors, and complies with RoHS and REACH environmental regulations.

Instructions for Use

  1. Preparation

    • Ensure the equipment (heat press, ironing machine, or roller laminator) is clean and set to the required parameters.

    • Make sure bonding surfaces are clean, dry, and free from grease or dust.

  2. Positioning & Pressing

    • Place the TPU hot melt film between the two substrates or at the bonding area.

    • Apply heat, pressure, and time according to the recommended parameters.

  3. Cooling & Curing

    • After pressing, allow the bonded materials to cool to room temperature for complete curing.

Notes

  • Test on small samples before mass production to determine optimal parameters for each material.

  • Excessive temperature may cause yellowing or loss of elasticity.

  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and high temperatures.
