Key Features & Marketing Benefits
EVA mattress side glue is a hot-melt adhesive with ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) as the main component. It is specially designed for mattress side bonding processes, suitable for fixing edge decorative strips, connecting frames with filling layers, and side lamination of multi-layer materials.
Moreover, its core characteristics include high flexibility and conformability. The elastic structure of EVA molecular chains enables the cured adhesive layer to adapt to curved surfaces or corners of mattress sides, avoiding brittleness and cracking.
In addition, fast curing and efficient process are key advantages. The adhesive offers convenient coating after heating and melting, with rapid shaping at room temperature. As a result, it adapts well to assembly line operations and improves mattress assembly efficiency.
Furthermore, wide material compatibility makes this adhesive versatile. It provides good adhesion to fabrics, sponges, non-woven fabrics, and leather. Specifically, it forms chemical affinity bonding with EVA materials themselves or those containing vinyl acetate components.
Finally, weather resistance and environmental friendliness complete the profile. The cured adhesive layer resists daily friction and minor water stains, with low VOC emissions meeting environmental requirements for home products. Therefore, it forms a transparent or light-colored film without affecting mattress appearance, providing a firm and aesthetic bonding solution.
